Google-affiliated autonomous vehicle group Waymo is now making some of its self-driving minivans available to Lyft customers, according to CNBC.

The pilot program will be confined to a small area outside of Phoenix where Waymo has already been testing its autonomous technology. Eventually, Waymo will have 10 vehicles available for the Phoenix pilot.

Customers requesting rides starting and ending within the geofenced pilot zone will have the option to select a ride in an autonomous shuttle with a safety driver.
