Following the passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, In-Charge Energy has launched a task force that seeks opportunities to fund fleet electrification in the coming years.
The most immediate step will be a purchase in FY-22 of over 1,250 electric fleet units.
The funding will help advance Gatik’s autonomous technology and increase its team size. It will also scale its fleet of Class 3-6 multi-temperature Autonomous Box Trucks across new markets.
As more electric trucks emerge, fleet managers need to improve their understanding of what it will take to procure, maintain, and charge them efficiently.
