Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions is changing its name to NOVUNA Vehicle Solutions, phasing into the new moniker by March 2022. The move follows parent company Hitachi’s merger with Mitsubishi UFJ Lease and Finance Company Limited (MUL), a global diversified financial group.
Hitachi Capital Fleet Solutions is rebranding and will be known as Novuna Vehicle Solutions. The leasing company, ranked inside the top 10 for fleet size in the UK with over 95,000 vehicles on its fleet, will be renamed by April 2022. Parent company Hitachi Capital (UK) PLC will also change its legal name to Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC.
Inventory financing will be provided by Hitachi Capital America (HCA) as part of the company's previously announced strategic partnership with HCA. Vehicles will be distributed through Pritchard Companies' dealership locations across the country.
