Following stops in Atlanta and Chicago, Fleet Forward: The Tour rolls on with its next stop in Irving, Texas on Sept. 15.

An offshoot of the Fleet Forward Conference, Fleet Forward: The Tour consists of one-day, regional events in which fleet operators can drive EVs and experience other new technologies behind the wheel. The Tour is free for qualified fleet managers.

Check out highlights from the Atlanta Tour stop from March 31 in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.

The day also includes seminars and networking opportunities. During lunch and networking breaks, attendees can interact with tabletop exhibits.

The agenda for Fleet Forward: The Tour Dallas consists of four seminars that address the needs of Texas fleets:

  • The Road to EV Adoption
  • The Real World of Zero-Emission Vehicles in Texas
  • Fleets Electrification: A Texas Blueprint
  • Making the Case: Moving Beyond an EV Fleet Pilot

The speakers represent Evolve Houston, Clean Cities DFW, North Central Texas Council of Governments, Merchants Fleet, and North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE).

“Texas has unique challenges and opportunities when it comes to electrification and zero emissions, and we’re excited to deliver the education Texas fleets need,” said Chris Brown, conference chair. “Our speakers will help fleets get started on infrastructure planning, accessing Texas-specific grants and incentives, and understanding which new electric vehicle models could work for them.”

After the seminars and lunch, attendees will move to the ride and drive. “Our Tour stops are designed for fleet managers to experience electrification firsthand — not only behind the wheel, but also one-on-one with subject matter experts who are ready to help them begin with EVs,” said Chris Brown, conference chair.
